Worship in the Spirit is simple… It’s having a heart filled with;

  • Acceptance
  • Faith
  • Thankfulness
  • Love

Israel sang a new song of deliverance, but it took some effort.

Israel wasn’t convinced that leaving their old life was the best choice; Exodus 14:11-12

Moses wanted Israel to believe with their hearts, not just their heads; Exodus 14:13-14

When God saved Israel from death, they reverenced God in their hearts; Exodus 14:31

Exodus 15 is the “New Song” Israel sang and Revelation 5 is our New Song…

Our New Song; Revelation 5:9-10

What is our New Song?

  1. WORTHY to take the scroll and to open its seals;
  1. He was slain, and by His BLOOD we’re RANSOMED us;
  1. Salvation is available to all, without qualification or discrimination;
  1. He made all who believe, a Kingdom of priests to God;
  1. He made believers to reign of the earth;

As we enter the New Covenant we begin our journey to the land and the life that has been promised to us by Christ…

So the song being sung states that those who believe in the Ransom of Christ are made a “Kingdom” to God of priests…

Jesus said, we make the rules; Matthew 18:18

The Golden rule is; Matthew 22:36-40

How to live in the new kingdom; Matthew 7:12

We are treated by others as we treat others. We are judged by others, as we judge others; Matthew 7:1-2

Consider what Paul told the Corinthians; 1 Corinthians 13:11

We have our New Life because of Love; John 3:16

Our New Beginning, Our New Covenant, our New Song, comes from Acceptance, Faith, Thankfulness, and Love, but most of all LOVE!

A New Beginning; Revelation 5:9-10

The Apostle Paul told the Corinthian believers exactly the same thing John told the 7 churches in Revelation 5; 2 Corinthians 5:17

Anyone who belongs to Christ (because of acceptance, faith, thankfulness, and love) has become a “New Person”. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
