Many are saying that the world will end tonight with the coming the Blood Moon. They say they know the date for the Return of Christ and the end of the world, and that date is September 27th, or September 28th, depending on where you’re standing in the world at the time. Today, our world has a new god that we seek for wealth, knowledge, might, and immortality. But, can the power of our new god change lives, save us, and give us eternal life? We live in a world that is rapidly changing. in fact, because of technology, our world is changing faster than we we can comprehend or keep pace with. We are depending more and more on the power of technology and less of the power of God. But the true power of God, the power that can overcome anything, will never be duplicated or even comprehended by technology.
Did you know that Christ gave believers the ability and the freedom to make the rules for His new kingdom? That’s right, every believer has the ability and the freedom set the rules for living their “New Life” in Christ. Hard to believe? It’s only hard to believe because it contradicts everything religious leaders have told us for 2,000 years.
Is the fate of our world locked-in? Is there any hope that the ultimate end of human existence won’t be in a blaze of fiery judgment? In this episode of The Good Path we’ll discuss these questions and see if there is a chance that our world will avoid God’s justice.
What is worship? And why does it take so much effort to follow all the rules of worship? Worship is hard because we’ve been taught “How” worship happens, rather than just letting worship happen. Once we remove all the pretense and drama surrounding worship, it becomes very simple and effortless.
Our world is in some serious need of help. We fantasize about Superhero’s, but there is only one hero that can truly help us (John 16:33). We give our worship away to those who make promises they can’t keep, but in this podcast we’ll discuss Revelation 5:8-10 and see what happens when we worship the one who deserves our worship.
Revelation 5 gives us God’s perspective of what Jesus Christ accomplished when He was here on earth. What Jesus did overturned the Jewish religious system and it should turn our world upside down when we completely grasp the significance of what He achieved with His death and resurrection.
In Revelation 5 God helps us tune into His perspective on our situation in the world, so we can understand clearly the things that are about to happen.
We live in a world that is selfish and self centered. We have become so self absorbed that it’s difficult for us not to think that everything doesn’t revolve around us as a species or “me” as an individual. But when we view everything around us from our own narrow perspective are we missing the bigger picture? Is there another view of what’s going on around us that we’re missing – God’s view?
