In the previous podcast we were discussing the song from the Throne (4 living beings and 24 elders), heaven (thousands of millions of angels), and the earth (all its’ inhabitants) that is found in Revelation 5:11-14

In today’s society we don’t accept this song as the “Amen“… Our society doesn’t accept it because we have discovered a new “god”… Our world sees this new god as all knowledgeable and full of wisdom… people everywhere go this new god for counsel and to gain understanding… countries have put their confidence in the might of this new god and they reverence its’ accomplishments… the power of this new god has influenced the minds of billions of believers…

Our new god is Technology and the power of technology is our trust… For technology to work we have to give it the power it needs, our trust

The Power of Christ isn’t trust, it is something else… The Power of Christ can change the world… can change lives… and it is the only power that can save us from death…

What is the Power of Christ? 1 Corinthians 13:11

When we believe we receive a new life and we’re made a New Person because of God’s love… 2 Corinthians 5:17;

The 7 Spirits of God (Isaiah 11:1-2) and the 7 pronouncements in the Revelation song…

  1. The Spirit of the fear of the LORD – The Glory of God is the fear, the reverence, the respect, of the LORD…
  2. The Spirit of Knowledge – The Knowledge of God is His riches, and that knowledge is found in Jesus Christ, who is God’s riches to mankind…
  3. The Spirit of Might – The Might of God is His Strength which is Jesus Christ because He overcomes everything, even death…
  4. The Spirit of Counsel – The Blessing of God is His Counsel which guides us…
  5. The Spirit of Understanding – The Honor of God is His Understanding which teaches us all things
  6. The Spirit of Wisdom – The Wisdom of God is that He is the judge of all…
  7. The Spirit of the LORD – This is The Power of God is the Love found in Christ -The Spirit of God is LOVE & The Power of God is LOVE

What changes lives?

What do we trust in? 1 John 4:8

“We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” 1 John 4:16

If we live in love than the power of God lives in us… 1 Corinthians 13:11

God is love and the Power of God is love; 1 Corinthians 13:1-7

Love is patient & kind;

Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude;

Love doesn’t demand its own way;

Love isn’t irritable;

Love doesn’t keep any record of being wronged;

Love doesn’t rejoice about injustice but it rejoices whenever the truth wins out;

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance;

An example of the Power of Love; The Good Samaritan; Luke 10:25-37

The Power of God isn’t seen just in what love is, it’s seen even more importantly in what love does

Love is “SELFLESS“; Romans 13:8-10, 1 Corinthians 10:24, 1 John 3:16

Love can’t only be a noun, it must be also be a verbMatthew 25:34-40

The ultimate Power of God is “DOING” His Love to others… 1 John 3:18

And that’s the TRUTH!

How do we “DO” Love? By Doing it! How far can I take “Doing” love to others?

Only when you risk going too far, will you know how far you can go.”

Love can’t only be a noun, it must be also be a verb
